Lens Alignment System
LAS™ · Active Alignment Station
Sub-micron centering precision via a custom active-alignment process. Superior to the standard autocollimator, the LAS™ uses a focused laser in reflection to locate each surface’s center of curvature, then automated vision drives every element into position for cemented and air-spaced assemblies.

What active alignment means
A focused laser in reflection measures surface decenter and tilt at the top and bottom surfaces; CalcuLens™ ray-trace software connects the two centers of curvature to compute the optical axis relative to the spin axis. Each element is then driven into position and verified to sub-micron tolerance before bonding — eliminating the guesswork of a manual autocollimator.
Why teams switch
Repeatable centering across operators and shifts, with full digital records for every assembly built. Selectable working distances (≤ 40 mm to 300 mm) trade sensitivity, magnification, and depth of focus to suit small optics or deep lens stacks.
The LAS™ family is available in multiple machine configurations. Select a model for full details.
